The final step in our process centers on sustainability planning. It also involves building on your school health journey and sharing it with others.
- Sustaining means figuring out the next evolution of your journey. It answers the question: now what?
- Improving is about reflecting on your achievements and challenges to maintain momentum around what's working, and let go of what's not.
- Sharing involves telling your story (both informally and formally) within Alberta's network of engaged and innovative school health champions.
Taken together, these actions boost the likelihood that school health will continue to grow, flourish, and transform for years to come.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges in school health, it has also brought about opportunities. School health partners are working closely to solve problems, innovate, and support each other.
